My journey through music has been marked with a range of experiences which have shaped me into the player I am today. This includes:
- Full-time placements for Carnival UK on the Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria cruiseliners
- Working as a wedding performer
- Working in Theatres as a Pit Orchestra Musician
- Playing in Function Bands
Aside from performance experience, I specialised in both Composition and Community arts Outreach during my time at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. This has continued into my professional career where I regularly compose and arrange, mostly for woodwind and commercial ensembles.
My Outreach work is shown in developing community projects which focus on linking Music and the arts to other semantic elements within communities. The resulting ethos of respect, emphasis on enjoyment, and self-discovery is shown in my teaching methods.
As a working musician, I am available for:
- Performance Opportunities including solo saxophone
- Private or Group Tuition
- Composition commissions for small ensembles
- Collaborations for community outreach projects
